1 INDICATIONS AND USAGE Guanfacine extended-release tablets are indicated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as monotherapy and as adjunctive therapy to stimulant medications [ see Clinical Studies ( 14 ) ]. 17 PATIENT COUNSELING INFORMATION Advise the patient to read theFDA-approved patient labeling (Patient Information). Dosing and Administration Instruct patients to swallow guanfacine extended-release tablets whole with water, milk or other liquid.
