7 DRUG INTERACTIONS Allopurinol: Avoid concomitant use of allopurinol with capecitabine. ( 7.1 ) Leucovorin: Closely monitor for toxicities when capecitabine is coadministered with leucovorin. 2 DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION Adjuvant Treatment of Colon Cancer Single agent: 1,250 mg/m 2 twice daily orally for the first 14 days of each 21-day cycle for a maximum of 8 cycles. Increased Risk of Bleeding with Concomitant Use of Vitamin K Antagonists Advise patients on vitamin K antagonists, such as warfarin, that they are at an increased risk of severe bleeding while taking capecitabine tablets.
